Our Lady of La Luna is a photographic series Brandon created to show during a duo show with Rob Williamson called "Bloom" at an.ä.log Gallery in San Francisco. The 18x24 photographic prints are mounted to 1 inch painted wood panels. 

Each photograph consists of only one image and Brandon creates all the collage and photomontage work practically. All flowers, fabrics, surfaces, color tones, skulls, centerfolds, cutouts and shadows are intentionally manufactured or placed in the composition by hand. Brandon’s symbolic work explores syncretism, false narratives and dreamscapes. The series consists of thirteen 18x24 inch works with an accompanying narrative for each piece. The narratives center around an apparition appearing to a subject, inspired by the lore of the appearance of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the midst of flowers to Juan Diego on December 9th, 1531. The narratives for each piece accompany the work and are typed out on Brandon’s late grandfather’s typewriter and adhered to the back of the artwork.

This series builds on Brandon’s previous body of work, La Lady Luna, which began in 2024.
