In 2014 The North Face sent me to Chamonix, France to make a short documentary film about the sport of ultra running. I chose the Ultra Trail De Mont Blanc as the setting for this film. Working with Camp 4 Collective as my production house and Tim Kemple and Renan Ozturk as co-Directors and Aimee Tetreault as Producer, we shot for 2 weeks to build out the story before launching into race day, documenting the 100 mile race that lasts through two nights in the span of 48 hours. This was one of my first films to produce soup to nuts and is still my favorite film I’ve created.
